Sorry, work
was still in progress as this picture was taken and Di was such in a hurry for her niece to get it, she forgot to make a picture of the finished quilt.....

Work in progress.....

Our ladies have been very busy!!!

Girls Night In 2014

Once again our Girls Night In for 2014 was a great success! Trevor and Ivy from Van Cootens Howard Drapery worked tirelessly setting up their shop in our hall and helped us with choosing our fabric to make our masterpieces, while supplying lots of great lucky door prizes for us. The food was sensational as usual and a fantastic fun weekend was had by all who attended.

Memory Quilt (by Maria)

This quilt is a bit controversial. I made this one for my brother-in-law from my mother-in-laws clothes. I have also incorporated some of his favourite blanket and some doleys. My mother-in-law was the queen of doleys. Most people have told me they like the idea, however, I have been told by one friend that this is a very morbid idea. I hope my BIL likes it and appreciates the sentiment behind it.

Car quilt (by Maria)

This quilt is a car quilt for our MG. It gets quite cool while driving along sometimes.
