WALL HANGING

This wall hanging was completed after it was gifted to us by a lady from Monto, who sadly succombed to cancer last year, before she could finish it.


It was donated to Kolan Gardens in Gin Gin to be admired by the residents.  Gin Gin Menshed kindly made and donated the rod and holder on which it is hung.

Quilts for Kolan Gardens

Boolboonda Hall Quilters have been very busy making quilts for Kolan Gardens (our local aged care centre) here in Gin Gin, on behalf of the "Friends of Kolan Gardens ", who raised the money for the project.  The money was raised in Gin Gin for our Gin Gin residents, and we are very happy to announce that we kept the money in Gin Gin by sourcing fabrics from our local store "Country Cottage"

We hope the residents enjoy our efforts for a long time!

Fund raiser for Cancer Council

Not only did we organize the Biggest Morning Tea for raising funds for Cancer research but we also organized a raffle with some nice prices...

First price was a nice quilt (who would have thought.... )

Second price was a lovely crocheted blanket

And the third price was a pearl necklace set of which I haven't got a picture but I was told it was beautiful!!!

Biggest Morning Tea in May

In May we had again our Biggest Morning Tea with lots of ladies coming from all over the place, from near and far. Everybody enjoyed themselves and we were again shown some amazing quilts. Here are some pictures of our "show and tell".....
