Memory Quilt (by Maria)

This quilt is a bit controversial. I made this one for my brother-in-law from my mother-in-laws clothes. I have also incorporated some of his favourite blanket and some doleys. My mother-in-law was the queen of doleys. Most people have told me they like the idea, however, I have been told by one friend that this is a very morbid idea. I hope my BIL likes it and appreciates the sentiment behind it.

This is a lap quilt called postcard from Africa. The fabric was given to me by my wonderful husband for my birthday so I will keep this quilt.
